Vier Animal Physiotherapy is based in South Lincolnshire and is ran by Carlie Wood

Carlie Wood BSc (Hons), Dip. A.Physio, IAAT, AHPR

I have been in the animal industry for over 15 years, acquiring considerable knowledge, skills and experience in animal behaviour, training and rehabilitation. In this time, I have worked at several canine re-homing centres gaining hands on experience throughout practical involvement at various levels, developing my skills and knowledge in animal health and welfare, handling and behaviour as well as canine training. These skills have helped me to develop my treatment techniques as an Animal Physiotherapist, ensuring that your animal gets the best overall care. I have volunteered at a hydrotherapy centre, further developing my knowledge in the rehabilitation sector as well as developing my handling skill in a rehabilitation setting. I then moved on to teach animal management at further and higher educational colleges.

I hold a BSc degree in Animal Biology, obtained at Nottingham Trent University. Developing my knowledge in Animal Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Animal Health and Disease and Animal Breeding and Genetics.

I went on and gained a Level 3 Certificate in small animal hydrotherapy and to compliment this I obtained a Level 6 post-graduate diploma in veterinary physiotherapy, where I was awarded a distinction, in 2020.

I also hold a teaching diploma, which was awarded in 2015.
